Place

The Libray the place where we go to read, write, look and see, to dream, and try and make sense of what we know. To feed our souls and nourish our spirits with information from without. Some have screens, some have shelves, some sit above the loo, by the bath, or by the bed but all have something magical waiting for us.

Book - Tree
on a lectern.

I wondered if the tree with all its leaves might become a book upon a lectern, its pages rolling back to reveal the underside of the top with its cosmic mysteries revealed. decorated akin to an illumination. The stand I see formed like Alert Giacommetis brothers tables, punctuated with figures and wildlife inserted like amulets not so different to Westminster Abbey’s Jesse trees, made by the sculptor Benno Elkan, which represent scenes from the Old and New Testaments. (Below)
I really like the Owl - it represents wisdom which would be appropriate.
So where would I keep knowledge - in a cupboard, with a key?
Or may be in a jar on a shelf, it might seep like treacle from shelf to shelve, or like a cake in Alice in wonderland, demand to be eaten.
